Tatjana Kelemen is the owner and director of Kelemen energija d.o.o. which owns the small hydroelectric power plant Dabrova dolina on the Mrežnica river.
Being the first woman in the Republic of Croatia to carry out a modest hydroelectric power plant project is what Tatjana is most proud of.
It is particularly committed to protecting the environment and lowering its carbon footprint, which its hydroelectric power plant directly and quantifiably impacts. Over 560 tonnes of CO2 are saved annually as a result of this.
Tatjana worked as a leading expert in IT in banking for 20 years, completing a wide range of projects such as bank mergers, payment transaction introductions, money laundering prevention, interactive blacklists, lists of related persons, managing a team for the development of software solutions for front and back offices, as well as background processing and data exchange with financial institutions.
She graduated from the Faculty of Science and Mathematics in Zagreb, majoring in mathematics and computer science. Through professional training organized by IBM and others in Croatia and abroad (Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Bled, Paris, London), she improved in the fields of computer programming, money laundering prevention, and project management.
She completed her education and took the exam for the Professional Certificate INTERNATIONAL SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS (ISB®), Level I Advisor, organized by the International Association for Sustainable Economy, Putney Hill, London. in 2021
She is currently attending conferences and training on renewable energy sources, the electricity market, and guarantees of energy origin.
Tatjana is a member of the Croatian Energy Society.
